It has been over a month since I graduated as Master of Science at the Delft University of Technology. I have somewhat recovered from the sleep deprivation that comes with a graduation project, so now it is time to show you what I worked on.
A while back I posted a video on youtube of me painting on a 3D mesh inside a webbrowser using a Leap Motion. This was just a quick demo I had made "for the fun of it". However, I got great reactions on that video. Even Leap Motion contacted me to ask whether they could add the demo to their leapjs example page. Of course they can! So today I release Leap Mesh Painter.
Soon I will publish demo of painting on a 3D mesh using a Leap Motion inside a browser. In anticipation of this I'd like to show you a little something I wrote for that demo. It is a colorpicker that you can control with a Leap Motion (as well as a mouse). I will show you how to re-create this step by step. Let's dive in!
Recently I have been working with a Leap Motion. I surprised me how easy it was to set it up under ubuntu (and windows for that matter), once you know where to get the right files.
